Not Just Money! Why Work Online?
LYNNIE VERSION

Hi! I’m Lynnie! Today I’m telling you about the purposes of working online. Purposes means the reasons why.
Most grown-ups think the reason is money. Only money! But Lynnaider says there are three reasons. And money comes third. Surprise!
Reason one: something you love to do
The first reason is having something good to keep you busy. Something that feels valuable to you. Something you can keep doing for a long, long time.
If you enjoy it, you’ll keep going even on yucky weeks. So build on things you already like or are good at.
Reason two: finding your people
The second reason is being part of a group. Grown-ups call it a community.
Scientists say having people around you is super important, especially when life gets hard. Working online can connect you with customers, other people with businesses, and people who like the same things as you.
Reason three: money
The third reason is earning money. Of course money is important! For lots of people it’s the most important. Lynnaider doesn’t say it isn’t.
But it comes third for a reason. At the start, money is the least sure thing. It might come slowly. If you already have reason one and reason two, you have good reasons to keep going while the money grows.
We’re the luckiest when we get all three at once. That’s why Lynnaider teaches the ten ways to earn as tools to help you get all three.
Keep your job!
This is important. Lynnaider says a job is still the safest thing for most people. So learn the online ways next to your job. Not instead of it! Earning money with your own business is never guaranteed.
Spend tiny, not big
Lynnaider always shows you the cheapest way. Most of the ten ways have at least one free or almost free start. Lots of beginners spend so little, you’d be surprised!
Little costs add up! So start free, and don’t pay monthly fees before anybody knows your shop. That makes your tummy worried, and then the fun of reason one goes away.
Oopsies to avoid
Here are three big oopsies:
- Counting only money from week one. At the start, money is slow. People who only look at money give up too early. People who also enjoy learning and meeting people keep going.
- Comparing yourself to social media people. The apps show you the super successful stories way more than the normal ones. So your normal progress feels slow. But it’s totally normal!
- Picking something you don’t like because it looks like money. If the work feels heavy, it’s really hard to keep going for months. Pick something that fits you, even if it starts slower.
You can stay hidden
You can get all three reasons without showing your face. Your products and services can do the talking.
Your turn!
Grab a paper and write:
- What work would I enjoy every week?
- Which groups would I like to be part of?
- How much money would really help my life?
The whole teaching is in the book on our products page. Want a grown-up to help you find your reasons? Go to our services page.
What grown-ups usually ask (and I answer)
Why is money third?
Because the first two are easier to get at the start. Money sits on top of them, like a cherry on a cake.
Should I quit my job?
No! A job is still the safest thing for most people. Learn next to it.
What does community mean here?
Your groups. The ones you’re already in, like at work, and new ones you can join.
Do I need money to start?
Not really! Most ways have a free or almost free start.
Can I have all three reasons at once?
Yes! That’s the luckiest way of all.
Will there be step-by-step lessons for each of the ten ways?
Maybe! If lots of people want them. Join the waitlist and you’ll know first.
Is there a cheap way to start?
Yes! Lynnaider shows you how to start each of the ten ways for free, or for very, very little money. You’d be surprised! And a free robot helper called Lynnaider Compass helps you step by step!
