Hi! I’m Lynnie! Today I’m telling you about affiliate marketing examples. It’s the second of Lynnaider’s ten ways to earn!
Let me introduce five pretend friends who earn with affiliate links. They’re based on real creators!
These characters are invented, just for learning.
What they have in common
Affiliate marketing means telling people about other companies’ products, and getting a little thank-you money when someone buys. Grown-ups call that a commission. All five friends make content regularly about one topic. Inside that content, they share links to products that fit.
Look at each one with three questions: What’s their topic? What’s their style? Where are their links?
Meet my five friends!
Dan the Language Learner
Dan is learning English, with help from his best friend, who grew up speaking it. Being on camera every day stressed him out. So he uses AI avatars of both of them instead! The avatars compare how each of them would translate a sentence.
In his link-in-bio, he shares links to the language apps he uses. People trust him, because they watch him learn with them!
Agathe the Minimalist
Agathe is clearing out her stuff and keeping only what she really needs. That’s called minimalism! Her style is easy ideas for beginners, with bright, popping colors.
Her Pinterest pins link to things like organizers and storage boxes. People use Pinterest to plan and search for ideas!
Jonathan the Software Developer
Jonathan makes videos explaining tricky coding ideas for total beginners, without ever saying who he is. He uses an AI voice, so no face, no real voice! His viewers care more about clear explanations than personality.
Under his YouTube videos, he puts links to coding courses and software. His videos keep bringing viewers for months, because people search for them!
Dennis the Sneaker Dancer
Dennis LOVES sneakers and streetwear. He’s been collecting and trading them for years! His style: honest reviews of brands most people don’t know, with 80s music playing in the background. He writes blog posts about new sneakers and how they fit, without his name.
His links go to shoe shops. Because he’s honest, readers trust him!
Cassy the Indigenous Foodie
Cassy grew up in a native family, eating healthy, natural food, and learned her community’s cooking. She films her cooking in beautiful slow motion. You can almost taste it!
Her videos invite people to her link-in-bio. There, they find Amazon links for ingredients and books. Her content celebrates her culture, and her links help people try it themselves!
No face needed!
Four of the five friends don’t show their face! Affiliate marketing is great for Secret Agents.
Make your own!
Try finishing these sentences: “My topic is … My special style is … My links live on …”. Then check you can post about it regularly!
Small budget? No problem!
Joining most affiliate programs is free! And a link-in-bio page or a free blog costs very little. You’d be surprised! No monthly payments before you have visitors. And you can learn to make the content yourself, no agency needed.
What’s next?
The next article explains how affiliate marketing works: tracking, the last click rule, and why free visitors matter so much. The whole module is in the book on our products page. Want a grown-up to help plan your affiliate business? Go to our services page.
What grown-ups usually ask (and I answer)
What is affiliate marketing?
Telling people about other companies’ products, and getting a little thank-you money for each sale.
Are these real people?
No, they’re pretend! But based on real creators.
Are there step-by-step lessons for starting each of the ten ways cheaply?
Maybe! If lots of people want them. Join the waitlist and you’ll know first.
Can I do it without my face?
Yes! AI avatars, AI voices, blogs and close-up videos all work.
Where do the links go?
Link-in-bio pages, under YouTube videos, on pins, in blogs or newsletters.
Do I need to be an expert?
You need to be trustworthy. Sharing your own learning honestly works too!
Is there a cheap way to start?
Yes! Lynnaider shows you how to start affiliate marketing for free, or for very, very little money. You’d be surprised! And a free robot helper called Lynnaider Compass helps you step by step!
