Hi! I’m Lynnie! Today I’m comparing three ways to teach online: an online course vs AI agent vs coaching.

Learning online is SUPER popular! And creators teach in three ways: an online course, which is a digital product. Coaching or tutoring, which is freelancing. And a chatty AI helper.

The online course: the same for everybody

A course is made once, and sold again and again, exactly the same. So it can grow SO big! Ten people or ten thousand, same work for you.

But it doesn’t change. Everybody gets the same videos, no matter what they need.

Coaching: just for you

Coaching is the opposite! Personal help that changes for each person. A coach or tutor listens, adjusts, and answers each person’s situation.

But it needs your time, every single time. So it can’t grow as big, and it costs more.

The AI helper: in the middle

A chatty AI helper sits in the middle. But for money, it’s closer to a course! You set it up once, then it runs by itself for lots of people at the same time. And it changes its answers for each chat, without you!

But unlike a course, you have to take care of it and keep it running. That’s why people usually pay for it monthly, not once.

Which one should you pick?

All three are great ways to teach! Your learners will show you what they like. Everybody’s different.

Some want personal help from you, for a higher price. Some want a ready-made course. Some love your AI helper!

Or all three!

Lots of teachers offer all three, at different prices. The course teaches the basics. The AI helper answers questions between lessons. And coaching is for people who want personal help.

Where to start

New? Coaching is often the fastest start. You could start with one client tomorrow! And it teaches you which questions people ask. Then those questions become your course or your helper.

Lots of teachers do exactly that: coach first, then turn what they learned into ways that grow.

Keeping them fresh

A course needs new lessons when your topic changes. A helper needs its answers checked regularly. Coaching stays fresh by itself, because you adapt every time. Plan time for each one!

Three oopsies

  1. Starting with the hardest thing, often a whole course, before checking if people want it.
  2. Pricing an AI helper like a cheap download, forgetting the care it needs.
  3. Coaching without time limits. Your week fills up fast!

A story

A photography teacher sells a beginner course about camera settings to hundreds of students. She adds an AI helper that answers settings questions for special situations, for a little each month.

For students who want personal feedback, she offers monthly coaching where she looks at their photos. Each one helps differently, at a different price. Click!

What grown-ups usually ask (and I answer)

Which fits beginners in a topic?

Courses and helpers are great for basics. Coaching is great for personal questions.

Can an AI helper replace a human coach?

Not totally. People still love real human understanding.

Which is easiest to start?

Coaching!

What are the three ways to teach online?

A course, coaching, and an AI helper.

Course vs. AI helper?

A course is the same for everybody. A helper answers each person.

Coaching vs. AI helper?

Coaching needs your time every time. A helper helps lots of people at once.

Can I do all three?

Yes! Lots of teachers do.

How do I know what my learners like?

Listen to them!

Will there be step-by-step lessons for each of the ten ways?

Maybe! If lots of people want them. Join the waitlist and you’ll know first.

Can I start for free or almost free?

Lynnaider shows you ways that cost nothing, or very little. You’d be surprised! And a free robot helper called Lynnaider Compass helps you step by step.
