Side by Side! How to Compare Online Business Models
LYNNIE VERSION

Hi! I’m Lynnie! Today I’m telling you how to compare online business models. Compare means putting things side by side to see which one you like best.
How Lynnaider is built
Lynnaider has five theory lessons about the big steps, then ten modules, one for each way to earn. The theory comes first because it teaches you the words and the questions. Then comparing gets super easy.
Why comparing is hard
School usually doesn’t teach this stuff. And videos show just ONE way, always “the best” one!
If you only hear about one way, you can’t compare. Is it cheap? Lots of work? Does it fit you? Who knows! So lots of beginners pick the first one they heard about. Oops.
That’s why Lynnaider shows all ten ways using the same plan. Then you can compare them fairly.
The mountain map
Lynnaider has a special picture called the Digital Economy Framework. Big name! It’s really a map with two mountains, because Lynnaider was made in the Swiss mountains.
The front mountain has the ten ways to earn, numbered one to ten, in the best order to learn them. The second mountain has a climbing trail with the five theory steps. That trail is called Lynnaider’s Via Ferrata. I’ll tell you about it in the next article!
When you finish, your thoughts will be all tidy, and you’ll know which way is right for you.
Oopsies that comparing helps you dodge
Comparing first saves you from silly detours.
You won’t pay for tools you’ll never use. You won’t spend ages on social media for a way that doesn’t need it. And you won’t pick a way just because it promises fast money.
Comparing money
Most ways have free starts or small one-time costs. Very little money is enough, you’d be surprised! Don’t pay monthly fees before anybody knows your shop. That just makes your tummy worried.
Comparing hiding
Some ways are known for people showing their faces. But all ten can be done from behind the curtain. You can stay private!
Let’s try it!
Let’s say you love drawing, and you don’t have much money.
With print-on-demand, your drawing goes on a T-shirt or a mug. It only gets printed and sent when somebody buys it. Customers get a real thing, but you keep a smaller piece of the money.
With a digital product, your drawing becomes a file people download and print at home. You keep a bigger piece of the money, and it’s super fast! But customers do the printing themselves.
Which one is right? Both! Neither is wrong. You can even do both.
Do I have to read all ten?
Nope! After the theory, read them in any order. Here’s a fun trick. Make a table! Put each way in a row. Then add columns: how much it costs, how many hours a week, do you have to send packages, and how much you’d enjoy it. When you’re done, the table shows you where to start. Like magic!
